Thanksgiving

It is almost Thanksgiving here in the U.S. and I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for a few things.

I am very thankful to have aged another year, and now am into a new decade! How exciting!

I am very thankful to have a new grandson on the way! And it may not be too much longer!

I am very thankful for a job that I love!

I am thankful for a loving husband who works so hard to make me happy!

I am thankful for loving children and grandsons.

I am happy to have a wonderful community of quilters who I get to see from time to time!

I am thankful for my church family.

I am thankful for my in-laws who live with us!

I am thankful for my cute dog, Buster!

I am thankful for a warm (when it is cold, like today) home and a cool (when it is hot) home!

I am thankful for water that is safe to drink and food that is good to eat!

I am thankful for a country that I can say what I think!

I am thankful for technology that lets me stay in touch with friends and family who are far away!

I am thankful for the color purple because it makes me happy!
